Learn about new voting rules for 2024 at local events

In November 2022, Michiganders overwhelmingly passed Proposal 2 that offers many new options and rights for voting.  These new rights will be going into effect in 2024 and the League of Women Voters wants to help people learn and understand them.  Michigan will have true early voting, improvements to absentee voting, voter ID options and much more.

Voters are encouraged to attend one of two Town Halls to be held in Genesee County in November to learn all the new information.
  • 2 p.m., Saturday, November 18 at McFarland Library, Grand Blanc
  • 6 p.m. Wednesday, November 29 at Gloria Coles Flint Public Library
Both of these Town Halls will be presented by League members and will have a presentation, handouts and time for questions and answers.  The League expects to have additional presentations in early 2024.

For more information, contact League President, Jan Watz at 810-664-7603 (voice only) or 810-358-9243 (text).
