Students From Flint Genesee Job Corps Assist At “Mock Disaster”

Students from the Flint Genesee Job Corps Center participated in the American Red Cross “Mock Disaster” along with other area High School Students.  The event was held to assist paramedics, fireman, police, and hospitals are better prepared in response time, should a real disaster occur.   Students did a great job in the “tornado disaster” in which the critically injured where rushed to Hurley, McLaren, or Genesys Hospital in ambulances while some remained at the scene for treatment.  Those who didn’t make it were taken to the morgue to see how that department is ran.  The American Red Cross and all organizations involved appreciated the students assistance and look forward to next year’s participation.
