$30 Billion Trust Can Help Flint Residents

According to the National Mesothelioma Claims Center $30 Billion has been set aside by asbestos manufacturers to pay individuals who have been diagnosed with mesothelioma, lung cancer and other asbestos related diseases. 


The companies that created the asbestos products and profited from them have put up the money to pay victims who are now sick. This money can be used to cover treatment costs, help with family bills, and ensure your family's future.

An information meeting will be held at Two Local Churches in the City of Flint. On Wednesday May 21, 2014 starting from 10 am till 12 noon Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church located at 115 welch Blvd where Reverend Floyd Fuller is the Pastor will host a meeting and at 12 noon Thursday May 22, 2014 a second meeting will be held at King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church located at G-2220 W. Coldwater Rd where Reverend Seldon Williams Jr. pastors.

Who should go to this meeting? Anyone have been born in 1958 or before and worked in an auto manufacturing plant and / or wire harness for cars, trucks and or/ other auto parts, shipyard, paper mill, tire plant, chemical plant plastic companies, refinery, power plant steel mill textile mill or any other factory that contained asbestos, and if you worked 5 or more years before 1982, in any of these facilities, you may qualify to be tested for asbestosis.  Of these locations: truck drivers, cafeteria workers, outside construction workers or office personnel, are not eligible unless said office personnel worked out in the plant performing their duties on a daily basis; also many garment factory workers and some furniture factory workers may qualify.

(Men) if you worked six (6) months before December 31, 1982, (beginning no later than June 1982), and also worked for five years from 1982 to 1987, you may also qualify for testing. 
Anyone who has tested positive for Asbestosis or Silicosis will not be tested again.
