Flint, Michigan—The Friends of the Flint Public Library will host a special fall used book sale.
Special Preview sale for members of “Friends” only:
Thursday, October 19, 11 a.m. -2 p.m.
Open to the public:
Thursday, October, 19, 2-7 p.m.
Friday, October, 20, 12-5 p.m.
Saturday, October, 21, 10 a.m. -5 p.m. (All day, $5 per bag)
Choose from a great variety of books and DVDs. Our broad selection includes children’s books, cookbooks, fiction, non-fiction and more. Hardcover books cost $1 and paperback books cost $.50. The Friends accept credit cards as well as cash and checks.
Buying books at this book sale is a great way to support your public library. All proceeds help to expand the services and programs of the library. Another way to support the library is to join the Friends of the Flint Public Library. You can do that when you come to the October sale. It costs $20.
The Friends of the Flint Public Library is a 501c3 non-profit group organized to advance literacy and life-long learning through fund-raising that directly benefits library services and programs. Members help by their membership fees, but also by dedicating volunteer hours to fund-raising activities.
