Flint Farmers’ Market Celebrates Christmas in July

Flint Farmers’ Market’s second event in the Night at the Market series

Flint, MI: The vendors of the Flint Farmers’ Market will be holding the second installment of their series Night at the Market from 5 – 8 pm on Thursday, July 27.

The Night at the Market event allows busy individuals and families who do not have time to visit the Market during regular hours of operation to experience the Flint Farmers’ Market. The event is themed Christmas in July. During the Night at the Market, many vendors will be highlighting  Christmas in July themed promotions and specials.

Night at the Market activities include:

  • Live music on the rooftop at Market Tap and the atrium
  • Drawing for prizes
  • HAP kids’ area
  • Photo ops
  • Other FUN activities

Visitors are encouraged to wear Christmas in July attire. Visitors dressed up can receive a free gift at Friends of the Market booth located inside the market.

Coordinator and vendor Tee Mathis explained, “The first Night at the Market received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback, and we are so grateful. The second night is another opportunity for customers to check out and visit different vendors and experience what the market has to offer.”

Co-coordinator Karen DePottey added, The first Night at the Market created a wave of excitement in the market. The second Night at the Market will have a Christmas in July theme with fun for the whole family!”

Established in 1905, the Flint Farmers’ Market is a year-round market that features a variety of 45 vendors year-round and additional vendors seasonally in the HAP Outdoor Pavilion.
