Travis Thomas of Live Yes And speaks on growth mindset and leadership at 2nd Street Learning in Flint

Travis Thomas is one of a handful of speakers that talked during the summer program at 2nd Street Learning, in Flint.
Egypt Otis owner of Comma Bookstore will speak July 10 and Hope Street, a career exploration App for students, will be there July 17.
Renowned speaker and coach, Travis Thomas from Live Yes And (http://liveyesand.com/), visited the 2nd Street Learning Flint Campus to deliver an inspiring talk on growth mindset and leadership. This event took place on June 26, 2024, and is a part of 2nd Street’s ongoing commitment to providing students with enriching and transformative learning experiences.
Thomas, a Flint native and the founder of Live Yes And, is celebrated for his unique approach to personal and professional development. His work focuses on the principles of improvisation, positive psychology, and leadership, offering a dynamic and engaging perspective that empowers individuals to embrace change, overcome challenges and lead with confidence.
During his visit to 2nd Street Learning, Thomas engaged with students in an interactive session designed
to cultivate a growth mindset and enhance leadership skills. The session  not only inspired students to
adopt a more positive and resilient approach to their personal and academic lives,  but also equipped them
with practical strategies to become effective leaders in their communities.
