Flint City Council calls for Special City Council meeting to discuss ARPA funds

The Flint City Council has called for a Special City Council meeting in order to discuss ARPA
(American Rescue Plan Act) Funds with Flint residents, particularly individuals or entities who
have submitted a request for ARPA funds by way of the “City Council Initial Form”.

This Special City Council meeting will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2023, in the
City Council Chambers, 3rd Floor, Flint City Hall, 1101 S. Saginaw Street, Flint.

With the second part of the ARPA funds application process underway, the City Council wants
residents who have already applied, as well as any others who are interested in receiving ARPA
funding, to come to this special meeting on Saturday.

As it stands, the City Council has received more than 400 applications for these ARPA funds.
