First Flint Kids Cook Pop-Up Event to take place at the Flint Farmer’s Market

Put on by the Michigan State University-Hurley Children’s Hospital Pediatric Public Health Initiative

When: Saturday, January 28, 2023
Time: 11am – 1pm
Where: Flint Farmer’s Market

Free Community Event for Children
Children are invited to pop in and cook  in the ELGA Credit Union Demonstration Kitchen. Chef Tina will teach attendees how to make yummy carrot cake muffins with cream cheese frosting.

The event is FREE and open to kids aged 8-18 years old. Flint Kids Cook graduates and new kids welcome.

One group will begin baking at 11a.m., and a second group will begin baking at noon. Both groups will make the same recipe.

Please plan to arrive for either the 11a.m. or 12p.m. baking group.

No registration is required.  All food and supplies will be provided.
