Flint, Mich. – Communities First, Inc. (CFI), a local nonprofit community development corporation, recently announced that Community Candor LIVE! will occur on Tuesday, October 15th from 8-9:30 a.m. at General Motors’ Durant-Dort Factory One, located at 303 W. Water St.
The in-person event will focus on Philanthropy’s Impact and Perspective and will be an interactive conversation between moderator Glenn Wilson, President and CEO of Communities First, Inc., and guest panelist Ridgway White, President and CEO of the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation.
“We are excited to host a conversation regarding the perspective and impact of philanthropy in our community,” Wilson said. “The heart of our vision at Communities First, Inc. will always be rooted in our mission – to build healthy, vibrant communities through economic development, affordable housing and innovative programming. This gives us the opportunity to sit down and have a one-on-one chat with a noted leader to talk about community legacy and the impact of philanthropy in our neighborhoods and around the world.”

By coming together to share insights and perspectives, we can strengthen our collective efforts to help drive positive, sustainable change.”
