Value City Furniture hosting open interviews at former Art Van location

COVID-19 has caused the shuttering of businesses, job loss and unemployment and more. Family-owned  Value City Furniture (VCF) has announced they are growing in Flint; creating meaningful, rewarding career opportunities in the city even in the midst of this crisis.

This summer, VCF acquired several former Art Van locations in six Michigan cities, making it the new statewide replacement for former Art Van customers getting ready for their next furniture purchase. With this acquisition, VCF has already made 125 new hires across the state and plans to fill an additional 100 positions in the coming months. In fact: Value City Furniture will be hosting open interviews from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on Sept. 17  at its new location (a former Art Van store): 4577 Miller Rd in Flint.

VCF said safety is top priority during these hiring events. Masks or facial coverings are required for all applicants in attendance. The hiring team on-site will also enforce 6’ social distancing protocols in any lines that may form during the event, as well as during the interview process. Applicants should also bring plenty of copies of their resumes. For details about available positions: visit https://jobs.valuecityfurniture.com/search/searchjobs.
