At at 3:02 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 14, Flint Police received a 911 call from Genesee County 911 Communications Center in reference to several subjects inside a secured parking lot, attempting to unlawfully drive away in several vehicles. The incident occurred near the S. Saginaw Street and Atherton Road area.
A witness reported to police that suspects rammed the front gate driving through it, leaving the lot with an undetermined number of vehicles. The security guard reported to police that gun shots were fired by the suspects, and one return shot was fired by the security guard in self-defense.
