Many of the incumbents in the August 6 primary were successful. Included in this list are Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton, Genesee County Clerk Domonique Clemons, 70th State House District Representative Cynthia Neeley, 1st Ward City Councilman Leon El-Alamin, 7th Ward City Councilwoman Candice Mushatt and several county commissioners.
El Alamin and Carol McIntosh will face off in November as they were the two top vote getters in that race.
Two millage renewals passed, as did the Genesee Co. 911 System Funding Proposition.
