Residents invited to electronic city council meeting

The Flint City Council meeting will be held electronically on April 13 at 5:30 p.m. The public and media can listen to the meeting by live stream at www.youtube.com/user/spectacletv or through Start Meeting Solution by dialing 774-267-2928. Those wishing to speak during public comment will need to call the same number. Though participants will be muted during the meeting they will be unmuted when it is their time to speak. Each speaker must spell their name for the record and will have three minutes to for public speaking.

The public may also send public comments by email to CouncilPublicComment@cityofflint.com. Emailed public comments must be sent at least 10 minutes prior to the meeting.

Persons with disabilities may participate in the meeting by emailing a request to the above email address with the subject line “request for accommodation,” or by contacting the city at 810-766-7418. Accommodations can include but are not limited to interpreters.

The Special Affairs Committee previously scheduled for 4:30 April 13 has been cancelled.  Concerns should be directed to the city council office at 810-766-7418.
