At 1:10 a.m., on Friday August 26, a traffic crash occurred in the city of Flint on N. Chevrolet Ave., near Begole St.
The on-scene investigation revealed that the victim was walking northbound on N.
Chevrolet Ave. and was struck by an unknown vehicle also traveling northbound on
N. Chevrolet Ave. The vehicle fled the scene and has yet to be identified.
The victim. a Black female, was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin has not been
notified.
Speed, alcohol and/or drugs are not believed to be a factor in this crash.
