Levitt AMP Flint Music Series returns with free live music, community resources and local vendors May–September

10 bands from across the country will perform in Flint May 12 through Sept.15

Flint, MI – Communities First, Inc. recently announced the return of the Levitt AMP Flint Music Series, bringing free live music performances to downtown Flint from May through September at Totem Books, 620 W. Court St., Flint, MI 48503.

The series celebrates community, culture and connection through an exciting lineup of nationally and regionally recognized artists representing a wide range of musical genres including jazz, soul, rock, hip hop, brass band, blues, Latin music and Americana.

“This music series is about more than entertainment, it’s about bringing people together, supporting local businesses, connecting residents with valuable resources and celebrating the vibrant culture of Flint,” said Glenn Wilson President & CEO at Communities First, Inc.

Wilson added: “We’re excited to continue creating welcoming community spaces through the power of music.”

All concerts are free to the public, with food trucks and local community resources available at each event.

Here are the concert dates, locations, band, and music style:

  • Tuesdays (6:30–8:30 p.m.) at Totem Books’ back lawn, 620 W. Court St., Flint (Parking is available at the Stockton House, 720 Ann Arbor St., and in the overflow parking lot of the White Horse Tavern, 621 W. Court St., Flint.)

Attendees are being encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of music, community engagement and local flavor in the heart of Flint.
