DETAILS: The Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD) is looking for dedicated and motivated professionals to join their team. GISD is hiring for full-time and part-time positions available in various departments and programs. Job seekers interested in working in a positive environment that is continuously evolving to make a positive impact on children and families should plan to attend the GISD Career Fair Thursday, May 19th, at the Elmer Knopf Learning Center.
“GISD employees touch the lives of students in Genesee County in a variety of ways,” said Eddie Kindle, associate superintendent at GISD.
“Whatever you’re passionate about, we likely have a position where you can put your skills to work and make a positive impact on the students and families we have the pleasure of serving,” Kindle added.
GISD is hiring for both immediate and future vacancies at locations across Genesee County from business services, transportation, teachers in infant, toddler and preschool programming, to instructors and support staff for special education programs. A wide range of opportunities exist. Some of the available positions include:
– Associate & Lead Teachers (Early Childhood) – Human Resource Assistant
– Bus Drivers & Transportation Aides – Para-Educators
– Classroom Support – Project Coordinator
– Custodial Staff – School Nurse
– Early Literacy Coach – School Social Worker
Career Fair attendees should bring copies of their resume, and be prepared to interview. Both in-person and Zoom interviews will be offered. Top candidates will be hired on the spot!
