Genesee County Democratic Black Caucus To Host Town Hall

The Genesee County Democratic Black Caucus will host a Town Hall to identify and discuss the needs and concerns of the minority community, ahead of the upcoming political cycle.

“Our government was designed to be for the people by the people,” said Royce Stephens, Chairperson of the Genesee County Democratic Black Caucus.  “In order for that to happen everyone’s voice has to be heard and this is an opportunity for our community to be heard.”

Flint native and hip hop artist Jon Connor will serve as moderator for the event, which will be held Wednesday July 31, 2019 at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 424 Kennelworth, Flint, MI 48503.  Doors open at 5 p.m. with the Town Hall starting at 5:30 p.m.

Community members are asked to email questions to GeneseeCountyBlackDems@gmail.com by Sunday July 28, 2019.
