Flint City Clerk’s Office offering Saturday hours for absentee ballots

The Flint City Clerk’s Office will be open  from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, July 25 and Saturday, August 1
to issue absentee ballots over the counter to city of Flint registered voters for the upcoming state primary election to be held August 4. In addition, absentee ballots that have already been completed by voters may be turned in at that time by the voter. The final deadline for voters to return absentee ballots to the city clerk’s office is 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 4. Absentee ballots received after that time and date cannot be counted.
Although Flint City Hall has been closed to the public since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic,
and will remain closed for the indefinite future, the clerk’s office is open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Flint City Clerk’s Office is located at Flint City Hall, 2nd Floor, 1101 S. Saginaw St. The office can be reached by calling (810) 766-7414.
