Detailed Juneteenth Celebration schedule presented for City of Flint’s activities

Flint, Mi– The City of Flint and its community patterns issued the final draft schedule for the City’s Juneteenth celebration:
 

FRIDAY, JUNE 17
BLACK WALLSTREET
VENDOR EXPO
FLINT CITY HALL
1101 Saginaw Street
3:00PM – 6:00PM

12:00pm – 2:30pm: Vendor Setup (Must provide own table/chairs)
3:00pm – 6:00pm: Vendor Expo
6:00pm – 6:30pm: Vendor Take down

SATURDAY, JUNE 18
FLINT JUNETEENTH PARADE
5th Street to the Flat Lot
12:00pm – 2:00pm

10:00 am – 11:00am Parade Check-In all parade participants must be checked in by 11:30am. (Check-in is at UM parking lot on 5th street)
11:30am: Final Line-Up check-in (Lineup in U of M parking lot)
12:00pm: Parade Kick-Off (Parade will start at 5th Ave. (UM parking lot headed west to MLK making a left to Saginaw St. ending at the Downtown Flat Lot)

SATURDAY, JUNE 18
FLINT JUNETEENTH FESTIVAL
Downtown Flat Lot
2:00pm – 6:00pm

11:00am – 1:30pm Vendor Setup (Must provide your own table & chairs. There are no designated spots. Please grab a spot in the designated areas.)
2:00pm – 6:00pm Juneteenth Festival
6:00pm – 6:30pm Vendor Take Down

SATURDAY, JUNE 18
FLINT JUNETEENTH FIREWORKS CONCERT
W/ MAMA SOL
RUTHERFORD RAMP ROOFTOP
8:00pm – 9:30pm

SUNDAY, JUNE 19
STREET RENAMING & BLOCK PARTY
FOR CLARESSA SHIELDS
2:00pm – 4:00pm
Spencer & Saginaw Street
(across from Berston Fieldhouse)
