Mott Fest and clubhouse grand opening to happen June 25

Flint, Michigan — A family-friendly festival and grand opening of the renovated Mott Park clubhouse will take place Saturday, June 25.

Mott Fest will be held from 3 – 8 p.m. at the Mott Park Recreation Area, 2701 Nolen Drive in Flint. It’s hosted by the Mott Park Recreation Association.

The event will feature live music, activities for kids, food trucks and more. Performers include Millie Grasso, William McGhee and Vision featuring TBAR the Family, and The Blue Hawaiians.

Mott Fest is an all-ages event and free to attend. The event and clubhouse grand opening are, in part, a celebration of all the work neighbors have accomplished.

President of the MPRA Board Tom Saxton said he is excited to host the event and celebrate with the community.

“We look forward to hosting what we hope will be the first of an annual summer festival in the beautiful space at the Mott Park Recreation Area,” Saxton said.
