By Courier News Staff
FLINT, MICH. – The C.P.S.A. Courier is pleased to announce the selection of a new community journalist/managing editor. Sheri L. Stuart will assume the role starting Nov. 1 and will manage the production of local content to keep residents informed about issues and activities happening in their respective neighborhoods. The appointment of Ms. Stuart is made possible thanks to a grant provided by the Ruth Mott Foundation.
“We’re pleased to welcome Ms. Stuart to the Courier,” said Rev. Floyd Fuller, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the C.P.S.A. Courier Inc., which launched the weekly publication in 1965. “We have a tremendous opportunity as well as a social responsibility to be a relevant voice for our community,” said Fuller. “We’re thankful to the Ruth Mott Foundation for their generosity in helping to further our mission.”
Ms. Stuart’s career spans leadership roles in public relations and journalism where she recently produced content for Crown City News in Pasadena, California, Inland Valley News, and the Los Angeles Wave newspapers. She is a graduate of Central Michigan and Michigan State University.
