Families facing housing instability right here in our midst are finding hope and assistance through the coordinated efforts of Family Promise of Mid Michigan and its network of partners. Through innovative programs and compassionate outreach, they are making significant strides in addressing this pressing issue that affects so many.

Family Promise of Mid Michigan and its partners have developed comprehensive strategies to aid families experiencing housing crises as part of their commitment to serving the community. By providing more than shelter, access to resources and case management guidance toward long-term stability, they offer a lifeline to those in need.

“We recognize the urgency of the housing crisis in our community and are dedicated to providing immediate support to families facing instability,” says Tiffani Wharry, executive director of Family Promise of Mid Michigan.

Wharry added: “A cost-effective alternative to traditional shelter, our holistic approach encompasses prevention, diversion, stabilization and short-term emergency shelter. We empower and provide an outlet to avoid duplication of services for others in the community with like-minded goals of helping struggling families.  We offer comprehensive solutions that address the root causes of a housing crisis that often can lead to homelessness and provide pathways to sustainable housing.”

The collaborative efforts of Family Promise of Mid Michigan and its partners underscore the power of community engagement in tackling a complex social issue, working together to provide immediate relief to families in crisis and fostering a supportive environment where individuals can thrive.
