Bristol Road Bridge Rehabilitation Project starts July 12 in Flint Township

The Genesee County Road Commission will begin rehabilitation of the Bristol Road Bridge over the West Branch of the Swartz Creek in Flint Township on Monday, July 12.  One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained through the work zone at all times.  The westbound I-69 entrance ramp at eastbound Bristol Road will be temporarily detoured in order to be reconstructed.  This posted detour route utilizes Linden Road, Bristol Road, Miller Road, and the westbound I-69 entrance ramp at westbound Miller Road.  The anticipated open to traffic date is November 15. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and to allow themselves additional time to reach their destinations.

Please contact Construction Department Manager, Gerrad Godley, P.E., at (810) 767-4920 if you have questions.
