The Friends of Mayor Karen Weaver are hosting a 60th Birthday Celebration in her honor on Friday, March 15, 5-9 pm at the Buick Event Center located at 812 Leith Street, Flint.
Born and raised in the city she now leads; Mayor Weaver has gained a national profile as a tireless spokesperson and advocate for the people of Flint during the devastating water crisis.
Her birthday celebration is a personal milestone that presents an opportunity to uplift and appreciate Mayor Weaver as she guides Flint’s comeback.
The evening will include entertainment, food and special tributes. The public is invited.
