Flint Songbirds Sing to Honor the Life of the ‘Queen of Soul’

What A Friend We Have in Jesus – Everything, Everything, Everything

Four Flint Psalmists represented their community well at the homegoing celebration of the indisputable “Queen of Soul”, Aretha Franklin.  Dennett Threlkeld-Cohn, Jerome Jermaine Threlkeld, Sister Delores Richardson, and Katrina Smith were hand-picked to use their God-given gifts of music ministry to sing Gospel Greats in the Aretha Franklin Celebration Choir on Friday, August 31, 2018. The pairs of siblings are known for singing, directing, ministering and playing gospel on the radio. All four minstrels have dedicated themselves to the Lord, the church at large, and the Greater Flint Community.

Family and friends thank them for their sacrifices and encourage them to keep fighting the good fight of faith!
