Saturday basic needs giveaway to take place at local church

This Saturday, May 22, Crossover Downtown Outreach Ministry will be collaborating with Riverdale Baptist Church to provide free food, clothing, personal hygiene items and more! This giveaway will start at 11 a.m. and go until the food runs out. Anyone interested can drive-thru and receive these items. These are available to anyone in need.

With so many neighbors in need at the moment, Crossover and Riverdale want to reach as many people as possible. So, PLEASE SHARE! For any questions, call Crossover at (810)234-2479.

When: Saturday, May 22nd at 11 a.m.

Where: Riverdale Baptist Church; 5151 Calkins Road, Flint, MI 48532

What: Basic Needs Giveaway

In addition to this giveaway, Crossover is still open for the following daily services:

· Food & Personals: Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (Once every 30 days)

· Clothing: Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. (Once every 60 days)

· Household Items: Tuesday- Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. (This is a one-time service. Recipients must have a valid lease showing they moved within the last 30 days.)

Crossover Downtown Outreach Ministry provides free emergency food, clothing, personal hygiene items and household items, as well as youth programs, for those in need in our community. Since 1991, Crossover has been uplifting our neighbors in need with free basic needs items, providing a social safety net.

As a faith-based, interdenominational mission, Crossover Downtown Outreach Ministry provides these things with dignity, love and respect to ALL who have need, showing the love of Christ, restoring HOPE and rebuilding lives. Crossover has no zip code barriers, serving anyone in need who comes to our door. In 2019, over 16,000 people were blessed with help through Crossover.
