The Flint Central High School Class of 1995 Alumni Committee is hosting a mini-tailgate on Dec. 7 from 2-6 p.m., at Luigi’s Pizzeria. They committee invites all Flint Central High School alumni, friends and community to join the joy and magic of this yuletide season!
Starting this year, FCHS Class of 1995 alumni committee will be reaching out to ALL FCHS alumni and friends and will host an annual holiday donation drive event! The mission is to give back to the city of Flint (and surrounding communities) by providing essential items to adults and children who otherwise may not experience either the joy of unwrapping a present or receiving essential items on Christmas Day. Essential gift contributions will significantly help the committee in acquiring and distributing more items of need to deserving adults and children. Rest assured, the essential gift(s) will be used as a unified donation from Flint Central High School Alumni and Friends given to The Shelter of Flint to make the holidays/Christmas a little brighter for these individuals.
Note that while this is a FREE event, it should be noted that this will not be a buffet. However, as alumni and friends come into the restaurant to drop off donations, they can both mingle and order food on your own. It could also be a nice place for alumni and friends to get together and watch fall sports.
Christmas sweater attire is encouraged, but not necessary. Plenty of pictures will be taken (that will be shared via shared google photo album, with the link to be provided onsite for Android and iPhone phone users.)
Donations are strongly encouraged, which will be shared with The Shelter of Flint. (Please do not bring gift cards or cash), but please see the list below for a list of items that will be being accepted.
