The Chosen Few Art Council announces annual community celebration

Flint, MI – The Chosen Few Art Council is inviting e community to its highly anticipated annual Community Celebration, set to take place from 12 – 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 22.

This vibrant festival will kick off with a lively parade down Saginaw St, starting from the Hamilton
Health Center (2900 Saginaw St, Flint, MI 48505) and culminating at the historic Berston Field House
(3300 N. Saginaw St. Flint).

“We are excited about The Chosen Few Art Council’s annual Community Celebration on July 22nd,” said Valorie Horton, president of the Chosen Few Art Council.

“This festival is all about celebrating our vibrant community and the incredible legacy of Berston Field House,” Horton added. “We are so grateful for the support and love we’ve received throughout the years, and we want to share this special moment with all of you,”

The festivities at the Berston Field House will continue with a delightful lineup of entertainment,
delicious food offerings and engaging activities for people of all ages. From live performances by local
artists to interactive workshops and games. There will be something for everyone to enjoy and cherish.
The Community Celebration is an opportunity for residents to come together, creating memories and
celebrating the unique spirit that unites the Flint community. Whether you’re a long-time resident, or a
newcomer to the area, this event promises an unforgettable day of fun, laughter and camaraderie.

“We encourage everyone to bring their family, friends and neighbors to Berston Field House on July
22nd and join us in commemorating the vibrant community that makes Flint truly special,” added Omar
Batson, executive director of The Chosen Few Art Council.
