After the success of the February 14 AI workshop for seniors, four Michigan-based artificial intelligence companies are partnering to host a free AI workshop specifically geared for solopreneuers and enterpreneurs, or owners of other businesses or nonprofits. This workshop is expected to be packed with information of  extraordinary value and will again be held at the Gloria Coles Flint Public Library, on March 7, starting at 2 p.m.

Sherrod Pigee is founder of United AI Academy, a newly formed school for AI classes.

“We have some blockbuster guests coming in,” he said.

Professor Mohamed Mkaouer and Professor Khalid Malik will each speak to workshop attendees. Both professors are from the College of Innovation and Technology at the University of Michigan Flint.

Pigee said one purpose of the workshops is to help people who are afraid AI will “take over” to learn to make AI a partner.

The upcoming workshop will address such topics as security, marketing and social media, personal branding and virtually every other aspect of business as it relates to AI.

UNITED AI ACADEMY™, LINKQUESTER™, SAFETRION™, and ENGINE SHARK™ are collaborating to help attendees learn to use AI to identify and reach target customers, streamline daily operations and improve productivity, automate routine tasks so owners can focus on growth and leverage AI tools to support marketing, sales and customer service.

Additionally, an open question and answer session will be held after the speaker presentations.

“Every entrepreneur needs a game,” said Pigee. “Everyone entrepreneur needs to win. Every entrepreneur needs help. In many, many ways we can actuallly help entrepreneurs level the playing field. As you know, the playing field is not even right now. With that said, the beautiful part about what we’re doing is we’re giving them the toools and the knowledge behind the tools to say: ‘Look, we know you can’t compete with a team of 10 in certain spaces.’ But if you have the AI tools, you will be able to keep up.”

Pigee pointed out that Sam Altman, widely considered the ChatGPT’s main creator, predicted there would come a time when a one or two man team would make a billion dollars.

“That time is here now – because the tools are advancing at such a swift pace.”

Pigee is also the founder of SAFETRIONTM, a software that powers the AI tools he uses, often to help seniors, but which can benefit anyone.

“We have something in there called Companion Pilot,” said Pigee. “It’s changing the game for seniors.”

Pigee explained that SAFETRIONTM can be used by anyone.

“There’s just different levels,” he added.

Pigee shared that the first AI workshop held by United AI Academy was open to the public and had no more than about 20 participants. The second AI workshop held by the Academy was intended specifically for seniors, and about 50 seniors attended. A third workshop was held when the wind chill factor was approximately 15 below, and about 15 people attended.

“But at the last one for seniors we had, in and out the door, probably about 100 people.”

Because of the growing interest in AI workshops, space is limited for the Supercharge Your Startup with AI workshop.
