Flint, MI – iMichigan Productions is featuring an incredible lineup of celebrity guests as part of the 10th Annual Flint Youth Film Festival (FYFF), adding star power to this milestone celebration of young storytellers. Alongside this exciting announcement, 75 talented young filmmakers have been officially selected to showcase their work, chosen from a record- breaking 500+ submissions received from across the country.
Over 20% of the selected films highlight the powerful voices and creativity of Michigan-based youth, making this year’s festival a true celebration of both local and national talent.
The FYFF, presented by iMichigan Productions, continues its legacy as Michigan’s premier platform for youth storytellers ages 13 to 25. This milestone year promises an unforgettable celebration of a decade of creativity, community and cinematic excellence—featuring screenings, workshops, talk- back panels and a red-carpet awards ceremony.

Since its inception, FYFF has amplified youth voices by offering an inclusive platform to screen short films in categories such as fiction, nonfiction, animation and experimental. Films are judged by an esteemed panel of industry professionals, with finalists recognized during the festival weekend. Age divisions include 13–15, 16–18, 19–21, and 22–25.

Honorary Hosts
Jessica Mikayla-Actress and youth mentor, Mikayla is known for her advocacy uplifting young artists through education and creative expression.
Dusable Lewis Jr.-An emerging voice in digital filmmaking, Flint Boxer Claressa Shields’ brother, Lewis Jr. inspires youth through powerful storytelling and community engagement.

Festival Emcee-Colette Boyd (WMEM-TV)-Respected journalist and media personality with over two decades of experience delivering impactful stories across Michigan.
Special Guest Appearance–Myke Michaels-An award-winning makeup artist whose transformative work has graced Hollywood blockbusters and major productions including “Stranger Things.”

dreams of youth under 25,” added Justin R. Brown, Director of FYFF and Emmy-winning filmmaker. “The 10th anniversary is about creating space for creative freedom, visibility, and impact.”

IMICHIGAN PRODUCTIONS
iMichigan Productions is a youth-based organization that provides reading and writing skill-based learning through the arts. Their programs serve to support the youth in developing the necessary skills to pursue a career in the film and television industry. iMichigan Productions serves an average of 300 youth ages
13 – 25 annually.
