FLINT–On Saturday March 3, starting at 1 p.m., at FIA Isabel Hall, the Flint community is invited to join the FIA for an artist talk with Detroit-based artist Carole Harris, whose celebrated career spans more than five decades. She will discuss the evolution of her fiber-based practice that often blends traditional quiltmaking with ongoing experimentation in color, texture and form. Harris will also reflect on her process and the role material can play in exploring themes of memory and the passage of time.

Admission is free, but space is limited. Light refreshments provided.
