Shootings occur in city on consecutive days

At approximately 8:20 a.m., on Sunday, August 14, Flint Police officers found the dead body of a Black man on the 4000 block of Frazer Street. Police noticed the man had multiple gunshot wounds.

At press time, there were no suspects for this shooting.

The next day, at approximately 1:17 a.m., on Monday, August 15, Flint Police officers found another Black man had been shot on the 2000 block of Trout Drive. The man was identified as Markeyees Keyes (5-1-98). Keyes was transported to Hurley Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition.
