WHAT:
Over 100 entrepreneurs and small business owners are expected to attend the second annual Immerse Entrepreneurial & Small Business Summit on Thursday, Sept. 25. This day-long event is hosted by the Flint & Genesee Economic Alliance’s Small Business Support Hub in partnership with the Genesee Entrepreneurial Network (GEN), a regional collaboration of entrepreneurial service providers working to connect local entrepreneurs and small businesses with resources to promote growth and success.
The Immerse Summit aims to empower Genesee County entrepreneurs and small businesses by equipping them with the knowledge and skills they need to start, grow and succeed in today’s competitive market. The agenda includes three rounds of breakout sessions, covering everything from marketing to opening your first brick-and-mortar location; the Immerse Awards, which will be presented to four local business owners; and two announcements regarding new funding opportunities for area entrepreneurs and small business owners; and a special announcement to help small businesses in Genesee County grow and thrive.
