Local nonprofit convening panel discussion and public Q&A in Flint
FLINT, MI – Communities First, Inc. (CFI), a local nonprofit community development corporation, recently announced Community Candor LIVE! will occur from 8 – 9:30 a.m. on Friday, April 5 at GM’s Factory One, located at 303 W Water St. Flint, MI 48503.
The discussion topic will be ‘The Role of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Community’ with the following panelists:
- Traci Kim, healthcare professional and former lecturer
- Dr. Beverly Brown, Genesee County commissioner
- Timothy Williams, vice president of Diversity & Inclusion at Meijer

Essence Wilson, Chief Strategy Officer of Communities First, Inc., and Joel Arnold, Planning and Advocacy Manager at Communities First, Inc. will moderate this panel discussion. Together, the panel will explore what Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion looks like in different spaces as well as steps leadership and employees can take to ensure inclusion.
