No-cost online Matter of Balance returns for September and October

ANN ARBOR, MICH. — (September 7, 2021) —The National Institutes of Health say that falls are the leading cause of fatal and non-fatal injuries in people 65 and older. The National Kidney Foundation of Michigan (NKFM) is hosting four A Matter of Balance workshops online to help older adults reduce the fear of falling and increase the activity levels of those who have concerns about falls. The eight-week workshops meet weekly in-person or over Zoom. Online classes require a computer or other device with internet access and a camera. A meeting link will be sent to registered participants. There is no cost to participate in the workshops but donations are always welcome.
