MCC Board of Trustees Candidate Forum to be held live online Monday Oct. 19

A MCC Board of Trustees Candidate Forum will be hosted by Mott Community College (MCC) live online at 2 p.m. Monday Oct 19 The 1.5–hour forum will be moderated by Matt Franklin from ABC 12 News, and Sumer Williams, a graduate of MCC’s Media Arts and Entertainment Technology program and recipient of the Paul Karr Award, given to the top all-around graduating student based on character, leadership and service.

The forum is divided into four categories:

  • Opening Statements – three minutes per candidate
  • Pre-written Questions – two minutes per Candidate
  • Live questions from the viewers for 15 minutes
  • Closing Statements – one minute per candidate

Candidates and moderators will participate virtually via Zoom, while viewers will watch as the event is broadcasted on YouTube and via Facebook Live.  Viewers can access the event by visiting mcc.edu and clicking on the link at the top of the page for the forum, clicking this link to MCC’s YouTube channel:  https://youtu.be/SqgfSM0JZqI , or visiting MCC’s Facebook page during the event.
