Kwanzaa Celebration Starts Dec. 26

The community is invited to take part in Kwanzaa, a celebration that honors African heritage in African-American culture from December 26 to January 1.  Kwanzaa has seven core principles (Nguzo Saba). The annual festivities culminate with a feast and gift-giving. This year’s Kwanza celebration will be held at the

Flint Odyssey House. Food, gifts, and crafts will be provided each day.  Different organizations will be leading the presentation for each day. The celebration is FREE and open to the public.
