From 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday August 11 the third food give-away for the summer takes place at Catholic Charities Center of Hope! 1,200 boxes of fresh produce must be given away! There will be a water give-away, too! Hamilton Health, the Crim Fitness Foundation, voter registration and the Census Bureau will all be there to make this a truly community event!
Costco will deliver water. The 1,200 food boxes will be from Perfect Pact. There will be a tent for temperature checks and blood pressure checks. Crim Fitness will provide free healthy eating cookbooks. The Census Bureau will be there for anyone who has yet to complete the census, and the voter registration is being offered by Michigan Faith in Action. The kind efforts of many volunteers also make this event possible for the Flint community.
