Hasselbring Senior Center to raffle off 2007 Hummer H3 to help fund community programming

One lucky winner will ride away in style in a 2007 Hummer H3 as part of a fundraiser for the Hasselbring Senior Center. The black four-door four-wheel drive vehicle was donated to Hasselbring Senior Center with the intention of raising money for the northside institution.

No more than 200 tickets will be sold for the raffle. Individual raffle tickets are $100 each. Funds raised from the raffle will be used to support activities at the senior center. The drawing will take place at 4 p.m. on April 1.

“The generous donation of the 2007 Hummer H3 will help us fund important programs for north Flint residents” said Beverly Lewis, the Hasselbring Senior Center executive director.

“The vehicle (the 2007 Hummer H3) rides nice and definitely turns heads,” Lewis added.

The 2007 Hummer H3 being raffled off has an estimated value of $9,000. The current odometer reading is 259,095. The winner is responsible for all tax liabilities and costs.

Raffle tickets may be purchased at Hasselbring Senior Center, from its executive director or any of its Board of Directors.

Hasselbring Senior Center serves as a gathering place for residents and community organizations. A variety of services are provided by the center to area residents including health & fitness classes, education courses, social services, outreach and nutrition services.
