Showcasing Enhanced Learning Spaces for Early Childhood
FLINT – The Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD), in partnership with the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation and Flint Community Schools, are inviting the community to attend the Summerfield Early Childhood Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. This event celebrates major structural upgrades designed to create a safe, welcoming, and inspiring learning environment for Early Head Start and Head Start Preschool students and their families.

Improvements include a reconfigured main entrance, a repaired parking lot, new windows, a roof and a boiler system, all designed to support student safety, comfort and accessibility. Following the ceremony, guests will have the opportunity to tour the newly upgraded spaces.
