COVID-19 vaccines will also be available to attendees

FLINT – In an effort to help Genesee County residents stay healthy this flu season, Genesee Health Plan along with several community partners, is hosting its eighth annual “Flu Drive-Thru Vaccine” event from 3-6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 8.
Attendees can conveniently access GHP’s heated drive-thru service bays, roll down their window and roll up their sleeve to receive their flu vaccine. New this year, the Genesee Community Health Center mobile unit will also be on site to provide COVID-19 vaccines. COVID-19 testing sites and information will also be available.
Walgreen’s pharmacy will provide vaccines for all ages including children ages 4 and up and high-dose flu vaccines for seniors. Tdap, HPV (for individuals ages 26 and under), Pneumonia and flu vaccines will be provided by Genesee County Health Department inside the GHP office. Community resources and health care enrollment information will be provided.
Recommended COVID-19 safety guidelines will be followed. Masks or face coverings are required.
Due to construction, please use the front entrance off Linden Road to enter and exit the event.
