COVID-19 vaccines including boosters, at-home testing kits, and Naloxone (NARCAN) Training will be provided
FLINT – The Genesee Health Plan (GHP) will host a “Drive-Thru Vaccine Event” from 3-6 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, as part of its efforts to help keep county residents safe and healthy. It’s available to community members, current and former GHP members and city of Flint residents, including those individuals who are deaf and hard of hearing. Attendees can roll down their window and roll up their sleeve to receive their vaccine in an easy and safe way. COVID-19 vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, & Janssen/J&J), third dose and boosters for ages 12 and older will be provided. Vaccines provided by the Genesee Community Health Center.
Naloxone (NARCAN) basic training will be provided by Genesee Community Health Center to show individuals how to identify an opioid overdose and safely administer the reversal drug. Free training kits will be available.
Free COVID-19 at-home testing kits will also be provided. There is no out-of-pocket cost to attendees. An ASL Interpreter will be available.
Recommended COVID-19 safety guidelines will be followed. Masks or face coverings are required for all attendees.
