Genesee County Commissioner Brenda Clack Spreads Christmas Warmth with Blankets

Genesee County Commissioner Brenda Clack (D-Flint) will be distributing blankets from her 2019 Wrap for Warmth Blanket Drive Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the Genesee County Administration Building, 1101 Beach Street, Room 312, Flint, Michigan.

Recipients of this year’s Blanket Drive are Catholic Charities and Shelter of Flint, Inc.

Commissioner Clack has supported this project for the past eighteen years after discovering how valuable a new blanket is to families who have family members sleeping on the floor of whatever shelter they can provide.  “It hurts to know that little children are sleeping on a cold floor during these very hard winters in our community.  Whatever I can do, I will”, said Commissioner Clack.

This will be the third year that Commissioner Clack will be collecting small lap blankets for the animals at the Genesee County Animal Control Shelter.
