Friends of the Flint Public Library Fall Used Book Sale

The Friends of the Flint Public Library’s fall Used Book Sale will be held October 17-19, 2019, Thursday, 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, noon to 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The sale will be held at the Flint Public Library, Lower Level Meeting Room, 1026 E. Kearsley St., Flint.  Please note that the days have changed.  Friends night is on Wednesday and the public sale begins on Thursday.

Choose from thousands of paperback and hardbound books on hundreds of subjects. For movie lovers there’s a collection of videos and DVDs. Music lovers will find CDs, a large collection of vinyl records and cassettes. There’s also a limited selection of books on CD and tape. Most items are $0.50 or less. Appraised items are also available, appropriately priced.

There is a special preview sale for members of the Friends of the Flint Public Library, 5-7:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 16. New members may join that night to take advantage of the preview sale.

Saturday, October 21, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., is Bag Sale Day—a bag of books for $5. (Bags will be provided by the Library).

Proceeds from the Friends of the Flint Public Library book sales benefit the programs and services of the Flint Public Library. For more information call the Friends at 810-249-2578.
