Free Thanksgiving meals to be donated and served to Flint residents by the Kyle Kuzma Family Foundation

The Flint-based, Kyle Kuzma Family Foundation will be donating and serving 600 Thanksgiving meals in partnership with Mott Community College’s Culinary Arts Institute and Michigan Transportation Authority (MTA).

The FREE carry-out, to-go meals, prepared by MCC faculty chefs and culinary arts students, will be provided to the community on:

Monday, November 25

2 – 5 p.m.

Mott Community College Culinary Art Institute

550 Saginaw St., Flint

Individuals and families will be transported from various locations in the city:

  • senior living facilities,
  • Franklin Ave. Mission (2210 N. Franklin)
  • Our Savior Lutheran (6901 Saginaw)

NBA Champion and Flint native, Kyle Kuzma created The Kyle Kuzma Foundation alongside his mother, Karri Kuzma, to positively impact the lives of single mothers and enhance the lives of their children. The Kyle Kuzma Family Foundation (www.kylekuzmafamilyfoundation.com) is a 501c3 non-profit organization that continues to champion community impact and family empowerment through a variety of initiatives and programs, paying particular attention to the issue of generational incarceration of women in Michigan, Washington DC, Los Angeles and is expanding its reach globally. Kyle Kuzma, a Flint, MI native and graduate of the University of Utah, is a forward for the NBA’s Washington Wizards and was the 27th overall 2017 NBA draft pick initially playing for the Los Angeles Lakers.
