Free Senior AI Safety Seminar coming to Flint to help protect older adults from online scams, cyber fraud and AI-driven threats

FLINT, Michigan — As artificial intelligence rapidly reshapes the digital world, a new wave of online scams, cybercrime and identity theft is increasingly targeting older adults. To help address these growing risks, UNITED AI ACADEMY™ will host a powerful community education event titled Senior AI Safety Seminar, designed to teach seniors how to safely navigate modern technology and protect themselves from digital threats.
The free seminar will take place Friday, March 20th at 2 p.m. at the Gloria Cole Flint Public Library – Mott Room, located at 1026 E. Kearsley Street in Flint, Michigan.
The event will provide seniors with critical knowledge about cybersecurity, artificial intelligence safety, scam prevention, online privacy protection and digital literacy, empowering them to confidently use modern technology while avoiding the increasingly sophisticated scams that target vulnerable populations.
Attendees will learn how to:
• Identify and avoid common online scams and fraud schemes
• Protect their personal information and digital privacy
• Safely use artificial intelligence tools and emerging technology
• Recognize identity theft, phishing attempts, and financial fraud tactics
The seminar will feature expert speakers from multiple industries, providing real-world insights and education, including:
• Law Enforcement Professionals
• Cyber Security Experts
• Banking Specialists
• Medical AI Experts
Participants are encouraged to bring their smartphones, tablets or laptops, as organizers will install free AI safety software and digital protection tools directly onto their devices to help improve their online security.
Attendees will also receive access to free AI tools, enjoy complimentary refreshments and participate in a very in-depth question and answer session where they can ask experts about cybersecurity threats, artificial intelligence safety, online banking protection and protecting personal data.

According to organizers, the goal of the seminar is to empower seniors with the knowledge and tools needed to safely navigate today’s technology-driven world while protecting themselves from the growing risks of cybercrime and AI-enabled scams.
