Food Trucks and Fun: Food Truck Event Opening May 1st

Foodie Commons @ the Flower Shop returns for 2024 season

Flint, MI – Communities First, Inc. (CFI), a local nonprofit, recently announced the return of
Foodie Commons @ the Flower Shop, a community gathering spot focused on providing food from
local food trucks owned by small businesses.

Communities First, Inc. is proud to provide a space for local businesses to host their food trucks on
a weekly basis,” said Glenn Wilson, President and CEO of Communities First, Inc. “With
opportunities like this one, we are able to empower business owners and build their community
through customers that they might not have otherwise reached.”

Multiple food trucks will be at Foodie Commons (located at 402 West Court St. Flint, MI 48503) every Wednesday and Friday from 11:30 AM – 5:30 PM, starting on Wednesday, May 1 through
September 30th .
The community is invited to  grab some delicious food from the following food trucks:
 Bella’s Concessions and Catering
 MexiCrunch
 Suggs SweetTreats and Eats Food Truck

“We are so excited to be one of the food trucks opening the 2024 Foodie Commons season!” said
Tonya Atkins, owner of Bella’s Concessions and Catering. “We will be offering our full menu. We
can’t wait to see everyone there!”

The first 60 people will receive a $5 off coupon for first day festivities at a food truck of their choice.

We will have an amazing opening day lineup of some of the best food trucks Flint has to offer,” said Regena Hall-Littlejohn, Culinary Business Development Coordinator at Communities First, Inc. “We are excited about the 2024 season and are constantly looking for more food trucks to join Foodie
Commons!”
