Flint Township shooting leaves man in critical condition and another in jail

By Tanya Terry

What started as an argument, has caused a 29-year-old Flint Township to be left in critical condition and a 21-year-old from Flint to be jailed.

The argument between the two individuals first arose around 8 p.m. at Fisherman’s Cove Mobile Home Park, off Maple Road in Flint Township, on Tuesday night. As the argument intensified, a gun was fired.

The 29-year-old victim was rushed to a local hospital after being found with a gunshot wound.

The 21-year-old was arrested at their home after being identified by investigators as a suspect.

Criminal charges will be determined by the Genesee County Prosecutor’s Office once the case is presented by Flint Township Police.
