ARLINGTON, VA — Cybastion, a U.S.-based tech company advancing digital and infrastructure solutions across Africa, announced several strategic leadership appointments as part of its continued global expansion and deepening of U.S.-Africa partnerships.
Flint Native Dr. Patricia Jackson, a retired senior U.S. Naval officer, has joined the company’s headquarters as director of Strategic Partnerships for Defense and Intelligence. A seasoned expert in foreign policy and international security, Jackson brings a strong background in U.S.-Africa Command operations and education. Dr. Jackson held leadership roles at top U.S. military institutions and within the U.S. intelligence community and has cultivated high-level relationships across the African continent.
Scott Blacklin, who previously served as a Senior Advisor, has also been promoted to. He will serve as senior vice-president. In his new role, Mr. Blacklin will lead our government affairs where he will focus on engagement with key stakeholders within the U.S. government.
