Flint City Hall will partially reopen on Monday, June 28, as part of the City’s phased-in reopening plan.
The following offices will be open from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Monday-Friday starting June 28
Customer Service
Assessor’s Office
Building and Safety (in the South Building)
Office of Public Health
City Hall Front Desk
The walk-up customer service window will continue to be open from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily.
All city of Flint offices remain operational can be reached by telephone even if they have not yet reopened to the public.
“Thank you to our entire community,” Mayor Sheldon Neeley said. “Thank you for masking up and for getting vaccinated. We still have more work to do, but we have made incredible strides forward to finally contain this deadly virus. We are excited to finally reopen the doors to City Hall.”
Entry for residents into Flint City Hall will be at the main entrance along South Saginaw Street and the main entrance to the South Building, along East 7th Street. Face masks and hand sanitizer will be located at entry points. Face masks remain preferred, but are not required for residents.
Hours will be expanded and additional offices will open soon.
Flint City Hall closed to help slow the spread of COVID-19 in March 2020. It was able to partially reopen in August 2020, but then closed again in November because of another spike in COVID-19 cases. Neeley had a customer service walkup window installed that same month to keep in-person services available to customers throughout the closure of City Hall.
